Oak Glen Engagement Wedding Photographer {Paul + Jess}

So my phone totally failed me this day. Before setting out to Oak Glen, I checked the weather to see what I would be working with and it kept saying “Sunny.” As I made my way down the Cajon Pass, the clouds began to descend down and I began to worry. Every time I checked my phone it said “Sunny.” And the closer I got to my destination, the more dreary the weather got until I finally made it to my destination. Completely underdressed (I was seriously in a tank top, cardigan and thin ballet flats), I decided to make the best of the situation and you know what, it was amazing. Shooting in the mist was amazing. I wish it was misty more often.

Getting the chance to document Paul + Jess’s engagement was so amazingly fun. They’re definitely one of the funniest couples I’ve had the pleasure of hanging with. I’m so so so sad that I won’t get the chance to hang with them at their wedding. But who knows, maybe I’ll be paying a visit to them when they expect their first little bundle of joy *wink wink*

Congrats you two! I have no doubt your wedding is going to be beautiful and your marriage will be even more beautiful!

Get a load of this crazy sunset I caught on the way home too.

Lake Arrowhead Family {R Family}

So I’m ashamed to say that I’ve let my blogging get so behind. In fact, I even had this whole blog post done (well, minus the actual writing part because I’m a horrible writer and it’s like pulling teeth to get me to sit down and write about my sessions). How long have I had this post sitting, just waiting for me to hit the “Publish” button you ask? Since November!!!

What. The. Heck.

Well, I suppose the saying is just as true now as ever: Better late than never.

With all that said, here’s the R Family. I’m so shocked how much these wee ones have grown since the last time I saw them. Seriously, this little guy wasn’t even walking yet! Whoa.

Happy Birthday Logan

I had the amazing privilege of getting to document my sister’s birth early this morning. It was just an emotional and incredible experience. I won’t talk on and on about, instead, here are the pictures.

Of course I got a picture with the little bundle of joy <3
